Andrew J. Eccles, General Manager and Chief Technology Officer, Services
Andy Eccles is general manager and chief technology officer of services for CDW. Eccles is responsible for advancing CDW’s U.S. integrated services strategy and leading the solutions and services strategy for CDW’s United Kingdom and international markets. He is focused on delivering cloud, mobility, security, collaboration and data center solutions with integrated CDW services.
Prior to moving to the United States with CDW in 2018, Eccles was chief technology officer and vice president for CDW’s international business in the United Kingdom, where he defined a new research and design model to support the creation and sale of IT services, and he devised a suite of cloud services products that now deliver production IT platforms for a wide range of businesses, including several iconic brands. Eccles began his career in technology holding various positions with systems integrators including ICL, Fujitsu and Serco.
Eccles is accredited with many technology providers, including Cisco, EMC, Microsoft, NetApp, VMware, Citrix and Amazon Web Services, with certifications ranging from development and design to architecture and engineering.
Tim Ancona, VP, ServiceNow Solutions
Tim Ancona is vice president of ServiceNow Solutions for CDW. Ancona is responsible for leading and advancing CDW’s ServiceNow Solutions practice.
Ancona launched his own IT firm, Ticomix, in March 2000, and quickly established it as a leader in the area of business-to-business technology services. Ticomix was recognized by Inc. magazine as one of the fastest-growing private companies in North America for five consecutive years (2013-2017). In 2013, Ancona launched Aptris as a dedicated ServiceNow partner focused on advancing service management practices in large organizations. Aptris went on to become an Elite partner with ServiceNow, putting it in the top 5 percent of U.S. partners. In 2018 and 2019, Aptris was named one of the top 50 small to midsize U.S. businesses to work for by Comparably.com.
Ancona joined CDW, along with his entire team, when CDW acquired Aptris on Oct. 1, 2019 to launch the CDW ServiceNow Solutions practice.
Ancona earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University. He serves on various local community boards and is currently the board chairman of Stateline Youth for Christ. Ancona has also coached high school tennis for many years.
Jim Senske, Director of Sales
Jim started with Anton Systems in 2004, prior to Anton joining with Ticomix to form Aptris. Jim has held sales management positions in the IT industry for the last 15 years, and has helped organizations meet their IT Service Management needs for over 10 years. He currently holds an MBA from the University of Miami as well as an ITIL Foundation v3 certification.
Paul Mitchell, Delivery Director
Paul joined in 2017, bringing with him over 20 years of leadership and ITSM/ITIL experience across multiple industries including transportation, telecommunications, finance, manufacturing, and software development. Most recently, he was Vice-President for PGi, leading their global ITSM initiative, ServiceNow, and Zendesk implementations. In his role at CDW, he oversees the delivery of services by experienced, talented, and dedicated consultants and developers. Paul holds industry certifications that include ITIL Foundations v2/v3, ITIL Practitioner v2, KCS Foundations v5, Global Project Management, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Korn Ferry Leadership Architect.
Steven Horvath, Chief Architect, Service Management Solutions
Steven is an experienced executive, proven consultant, and successful entrepreneur, with more than 25 years’ experience supporting and guiding world-class organizations. He is a recognized leader in both Fortune 500 and SMB markets, aligning technology innovation with business operations. He has managed high-growth and fast-paced environments, and achieved success in multi-billion dollar industries.
Steven’s unique combination of management experience and technical delivery expertise helps companies improve efficiency and increase revenue. Steven founded his first vertical market software application company in college, while his second company, focused on distance learning, propelled him into the national limelight where he had significant influence on the developing distance learning field. Steven subsequently realized success as a Fortune 500 executive designing, developing and deploying innovative technology solutions for such organizations as ServiceMaster, Turner Construction, McDonalds and Xerox. In addition, Steve has served as an independent consultant to an array of global companies, helping to guide their IT and business transformation journey.
John Manna, Senior Sales Manager
John joined in 2011, prior to Ticomix joining with Anton Systems to form Aptris. He has over 16 years of service desk leadership experience. Prior to joining Ticomix, he was at SMA Management Systems (White Plains, NY) where he led the team that achieved the number one FrontRange Partner status for six years in a row.
At CDW, John manages customer relationships and business development out of his New York regional office. John holds industry certifications that include ITIL Foundations, FrontRange products and Knowledge Management.
Greg Wheeler, Solution Domain Manager, Advisory Services
Greg joined in December of 2015, after a 31-year career with New York State in Auditing, IT and IT leadership. During his tenure with the State of New York, Greg lead the Enterprise IT Service Management program, introducing and implementing ITIL based Service Management practices adapted for State government. This program leveraged the ServiceNow platform to facilitate, track and enforce adopted processes.
At CDW, Greg’s expert approach to customer work comprises an emphasis on best practices and the alignment of people and processes, based on his certified ITIL® expertise and vast ITSM background. Greg brings a strong passion for the IT Business Management and IT Governance to IT Service Management, helping to mature clients and align their services to business priorities. Greg earned his Bachelor of Science at SUNY Geneseo and his Masters of Science in Computer Management Systems from Union College in New York.
Phyllis Ginestra, Financial Accounting Manager
Phyllis joined in 2012 as CFO after spending the majority of her career in New York working in the Ad world (think Mad Men). She worked at Ogilvy and had the great pleasure of working with David Ogilvy—a seminal experience that shaped the business professional she is today. She later served as R/GA’s CFO—a company providing interactive media and special effects for TV and film—where she witnessed first-hand the power of technology and the opportunities that exist when properly nurtured. She earned her Accounting degree at Marquette University and enjoys exchanging knowledge and life-long learning.
Mike Roberts, Marketing Manager
Mike joined in 2010 with 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and communications. He coordinates overall marketing strategies for the CDW ServiceNow Solutions practice. Mike came to the company after years as an independent consultant to businesses of all sizes across the country, specializing in corporate identity, creative communications design and internet marketing. Mike has previously held several senior-level positions for companies including CPR, Inc. (Houston, TX), Impact Productions (Tulsa, OK), and Chase Manhattan.
