Tim Ancona, CEO
Tim Ancona is CEO of Ticomix and Aptris. Having launched Ticomix in March of 2000, he has since established it as a leader in the area of business-to-business technology services across the nation, and Ticomix has been named by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in America for the 5th consecutive year (2013-2017). Tim’s focus on the customer has taken the company to a place of national leadership in technology solutions for businesses of all types and sizes, and superior customer satisfaction at every level. Through various industry leadership positions, Tim has had the unique opportunity to not only grow his own enterprises, but also to help literally thousands of other businesses and organizations grow their bottom line through effective use of technology and software solutions.
Outside of business, Tim spends his time with his wife of 29 years, Karen, and their 3 children, Ashley, Justin and Brandon. He is a lifelong tennis player and enthusiast, serving as a local high school coach and volunteer for the USTA. Tim is also very active in the community, serving on the boards of Youth for Christ and in various positions for Transform Rockford, a local initiative aimed at stimulating greater growth and success in the Rock River region.
Phyllis Ginestra, Chief Financial Officer
Phyllis joined in 2012 as CFO after spending the majority of her career in New York working in the Ad world – think Mad Men. She worked at Ogilvy and had the great pleasure of working with David Ogilvy – a seminal experience that shaped the business professional she is today. She later served as R/GA’s CFO – a company providing interactive media and special effects for TV and film – where she witnessed first-hand the power of technology and the opportunities that exist when properly nurtured. She earned her Accounting degree at Marquette University and enjoys exchanging knowledge and life-long learning.
Mike Roberts, VP of Marketing
Mike joined in 2010 with 20 years experience in sales, marketing and communications. He coordinates Aptris’ overall marketing and branding strategies. Mike came to the company after years as an independent consultant to businesses of all sizes across the country, specializing in corporate identity, creative communications design and internet marketing. Mike has previously held several senior-level marketing positions for companies including CPR, Inc. (Houston, TX), Impact Productions (Tulsa, OK), and Chase Manhattan.
Outside of work, he spends his time with his wife Donna, his three sons (Austin, Daylen & Landon), his three-step children (Dougie, Nicky & Bethany) and their little Dauchsund mini (Schatzy). He’s also a multi-instrumental musician as well as an accomplished public speaker.
Jim Senske, VP of Sales, South Region
Jim started with Anton Systems in 2004, prior to Anton joining with Ticomix to form Aptris. Jim has held sales management positions in the IT industry for the last 15 years, and has helped organizations meet their IT Service Management needs for over 10 years. He currently holds an MBA from the University of Miami as well as an ITIL Foundations v3 certification.
John Manna, VP of Sales, North Region
John joined Ticomix in 2011, prior to Ticomix joining with Anton Systems to form Aptris. He has over 16 years of service desk leadership experience. Prior to Ticomix, he was at SMA Management Systems (White Plains, NY) where he led the team that achieved the number one FrontRange Partner status for six years in a row. At Aptris, he manages customer relationships and business development out of Aptris’ New York regional office. John holds industry certifications that include ITIL Foundations, FrontRange products and Knowledge Management.
Steven Horvath, Chief Innovation Officer
Steven is an experienced executive, proven consultant, and successful entrepreneur, with more than 25 years’ experience supporting and guiding world-class organizations. He is a recognized leader in both Fortune 500 and SMB markets, aligning technology innovation with business operations. He has managed high-growth and fast-paced environments, and achieved success in multi-billion dollar industries.
Steven’s unique combination of management experience and technical delivery expertise helps companies improve efficiency and increase revenue. Steven founded his first vertical market software application company in college, while his second company, focused on distance learning, propelled him into the national limelight where he had significant influence on the developing distance learning field. Steven subsequently realized success as a Fortune 500 executive designing, developing and deploying innovative technology solutions for such organizations as ServiceMaster, Turner Construction, McDonalds and Xerox. In addition, Steve has served as an independent consultant to an array of global companies, helping to guide their IT and business transformation journey.
Brian Huber, VP of SecOps, ITOM and GRC
Brian has been with Aptris for almost 15 years and has a total of 25+ years in the IT industry. In his role, Brian oversees service delivery by Aptris consultants and project management. In addition, Brian is involved in process consulting and needs analysis, with a particular focus on IT Service Management practices. Brian holds certifications including the highest available ITIL certifications (v2 Service Master and v3 Expert), as well as a broad range of software product certifications.
Paul Mitchell, VP of Delivery Services
Paul joined Aptris in 2017, bringing with him over 20 years of leadership and ITSM/ITIL experience across multiple industries including transportation, telecommunications, finance, manufacturing, and software development. Most recently, he was Vice-President for PGi, leading their global ITSM initiative, ServiceNow, and Zendesk implementations. In his role at Aptris, he oversees the delivery of services by experienced, talented, and dedicated consultants and developers. Paul holds industry certifications that include ITIL Foundations v2/v3, ITIL Practitioner v2, KCS Foundations v5, Global Project Management, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Korn Ferry Leadership Architect.
Greg Wheeler, Director of Advisory Services
Greg joined Aptris in December of 2015, after a 31-year career with New York State in Auditing, IT and IT leadership. During his tenure with the State of New York, Greg lead the Enterprise IT Service Management program, introducing and implementing ITIL based Service Management practices adapted for State government. This program leveraged the ServiceNow platform to facilitate, track and enforce adopted processes. Greg’s expert approach to customer work comprises an emphasis on best practices and the alignment of people and processes, based on his certified ITIL® expertise and vast ITSM background. Greg brings a strong passion for the IT Business Management and IT Governance to IT Service Management, helping to mature clients and align their services to business priorities. Greg earned his Bachelor of Science at SUNY Geneseo and his Masters of Science in Computer Management Systems from Union College in New York.
